2022 I took part in the first german advanced training for intimacy coordination, organized by "Culture Change Hub" and supported by a scholarship from BFFS (German Association of acting).
I was educated over a period of 4 months by - amongst others - instructors from TIE (Theatrical Intimacy Education) like Chelsea Pace, Laura Rikard, Kim Shively, to be skilled in divers subject areas of intimacy coordination.

WHAT´S AN INTIMACY COORDINATOR?

As Intimacy coordinator, shortly "IC" I support productions with shooting scenes of simulated sex and sexual assault, intimacy, kisses and nudity. I help to realize the directors vision all within the actors and actresses boundaries.

As you need a stuntwoman or -man to produce action-scenes, you need an IC for scenes with simulated intimacy or sex.
Naturally, in action scenes you don´t punch right in the face of your partner or you don´t film a car chase without a rehearsal in detail!

My work includes the best practices by TIE consisting of 5 ingredients:
1. Consent
2. Boundaries
3. Desexualisation
4. Choreography
5. Documentation

With the knowledge and experience as stuntwoman, actress, dancer and not at least the feeling for artwork as trained photographer, I can bring everything together to my intimacy work.
