Deux mots sur Axel Steinmüller
Axel Steinmüller was raised in Heidelberg / Germany as a son of an german-italian family. After receiving a two years musical scholarship at the Berlin Music School in 1990, during which time he worked also as lighting technician and choir member for the Berlin Opera (Deutsche Oper), he gave his debut as a performing artist in the Ragtime-Opera “Treemonisha” at the Schwetzingen Music Festival. Meanwhile continuing his career as actor and singer he completed a Master of Arts in Critical Studies in 1996. Steinmüller then further deepened his training at the esteemed Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York. An exclusive contract with a german Actors Representative, directly after finishing his training, brought him back to Germany. Since then he appeared in numerous Theater and TV-Productions in Germany and Europe, including a three months tour through Skandinavia. He also working as a presenter for trade shows and corporate films and as writer and director. In 2013 he directed his first full length movie with the title “Why Siegfried Teitelbaum had to die”, where he also wrote the screenplay for.
