Annekathrin Heubner

After studying cultural and theater studies, Annekathrin Heubner worked in various areas of the film industry. In 2000, she became a permanent employee of Kinderfilm GmbH, Erfurt. Here she spent many years building up the company's own casting department. She paid particular attention to talent discovery in the area of young talent. Annekathrin Heubner has been a freelancer since 2018. Casting children and young people continues to be a focus of her work. Her references include television productions for public broadcasters, including fairy tale adaptations for the ARD and ZDF family program, as well as feature films and other formats. Annekathrin Heubner is a member of the German Casting Association (BVC) and is based in Weimar.
