Stan Steinbichler

Born in Salzburg I moved to Baden bei Wien at two years of age. During my childhood, I alternated between living in Baden, Bad Aussee and Fortaleza (BR). Besides my mother tongue, German, I am speaking fluent English, Portuguese (BR) and Spanish. In 2020, I graduated from Danube International School and was awarded the bilingual IB diploma.


I began pursuing my acting career at the age of five, when I took part in acting classes before becoming a member of the Wiener Kindertheater under the direction of Silvia Rotter.
I also joined the Wiener Volksoper children's choir for one year, before appearing for my stage debut performing in the children’s opera Pollicino directed by Christa Ertl at the Stadttheater Baden in 2011. There, I participated in various musicals and plays such as: 2012 Gräfin Mariza, 2015 Der Fidele Bauer and 2016 Jekyll and Hyde.

However, from the very beginning my core passion always remained within camera acting and after one auditon I secured a fixed spot in the cast of the ORF Childrens TV, where I played a variety of characters throughout the years. Throughout his time with the ORF, I participated in camera acting classes for kids.
From 2015 onwards, I outgrew Kids TV, started attending the First Filmacademy Vienna, and started working with my coach and mentor Morteza Tavakoli from 2016 onwards.
My first appearances on screen include Siebzehn, directed by Monja Art and Kästner und Der Kleine Dienstag as Emil Tischbein, directed by Wolfgang Murnberger.

In 2018 I embodied Jan Fuchs, a protagonist in the episode Herz aus Stein of the series SOKO Donau.

Various roles in Austrian/German TV Production followed.

My work in 2019 included playing the episode lead Stefan Wolf in the English language adaption of the “Liebermann Papers – The lost child” (Frank Tallis) alongside Matthew Beard (The Imitation Game) under the direction of Umut Dağ.

Towards the end of 2019, I temporarily moved to the UK, to shoot as the series regular character Nico Haas in the new Netflix teen drama series “Zero Chill” directed by Angelo Abela and Tessa Hoffe.

Further project in the years 2020/2021 were series as Familiensache, Soko Donau, Soko Kitzbühel, Landkrimi, Die Toten von Salzburg. Also in 2021 I appeared in the feature film DER FUCHS under the direction of Adrian Goiginger.
