- Jurymember "Karlsruhe UNESCO City of Media Arts"Sina Seiler has been an honorary jury member for the Underground Award of the City of Karlsruhe as part of the "Karlsruhe - UNESCO City of Media Arts" label since 2021. The prize with production funds is awarded every year to filmmakers from Germany or abroad. - Directing "They Called Us the Krauts"Sina Seiler has recently directed the oral history documentary "They called us the Krauts" about a contemporary witness to National Socialism. The film is currently being screened at international festivals and has already won several awards, including the Sweden Film Award for best documentary.
Deux mots sur Sina Seiler
Sina Seiler completed her academic film and acting studies at the Universities of Karlsruhe (KIT - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) in cooperation with the University of Arts and Design, postgraduating at the Eberhardt Karls University of Tübingen and with an Erasmus Stipend at the University of Film and Theatre: DAMS (Drama Art and Music Studies) Bologna, Italy. In the season 2017/18 Sina Seiler has been performing in the theatre project "Gala Global" directed by Turbo Pascal at Deutsches Theater Berlin.
