Deux mots sur Lutz Faupel
Lutz played most recently at Nordharzer Städtebundtheater in Germany until mid 2020 (Siegfried in "Döner zweier Herren") and at Städtische Bühnen Osnabrück, Germany, (stepmother in "Aschenputtel") until January 2020.
Already in 2018/19 he could be seen in Osnabrück, then as Maledictus Made in "Der satanarcholügenialkohöllische Wunschpunsch". Afterwards he rehearsed at the Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Baden-Württemberg (ADK) in Ludwigsburg a play after Henrik Ibsen's "Die Frau vom Meer". At the ADK Lutz was also seen as the Agent in the German premiere of "Heimat" by Russian Konstantin Kostenko and in 2017 as newspaper publisher Babusch in Brecht's "Trommeln in der Nacht".
Before that he played at Stadttheater Trier (Aigisthos in "Orestie") and at Landesbühne Niedersachsen Nord in Wilhelmshaven (Clyde in "Clyde and Bonnie"), at Ernst-Deutsch-Theater Hamburg, as well as at the International Theater Oslo and at Boulevard Theater (then Orphée Theater) Dresden, during his studies also in productions of the Theaterakademie Hamburg (a.o. Leonce in "Leonce und Lena"), also in "Woyzeck" and "Minna von Barnhelm",
One of his mainstays is his work as a voiceover. He dubbed a TV commercial for VW (Tiguan mode) and lent his voice to Deutschlandradio Kultur as a voice-over for the program "Am Mikrofon".
For more than ten years, Lutz has been working as a news voiceover and anchor for Euronews (Lyon), where he is also a live commentator and freelance producer. In Berlin, he has been working for almost eight years as a freelance news producer and voiceover artist for the Reuters news agency, and in Hamburg as a dubbing artist for Studio Funk. In summer of 2020 he spoke an off-text for an upcoming online exhibition on Karl Lagerfeld.
