In “Wildest Africa: Zambezi” we follow the course of the wild water of Africa’s Zambezi river which spills over Victoria Falls in the largest sheet of falling water in the world. This awesome river is home to a plethora of wildlife and most notoriously, crocodiles and hippos. We begin our journey at the source of this mighty river in north-western Zambia to Victoria Falls where we reveal some incredible geology and meet people whose lives revolve around this epic river. We meet some spectacular wildlife at Mosi-oa-Tunya and Luangua and reveal some fascinating human prehistory at Kalambo Falls before exploring Lake Kariba and finally discovering the river’s delta.
