Anna (25) wanders around the streets of Berlin speaking messages into her friend Lea's voicemail and telling her about her daily life. She eventually goes on a date with a pretentious artist who is working on a photo project about one of Berlin's tallest buildings called "The Windmill" where apparently a lot of people committed suicide by throwing themselves from the windows. Before that they left notes on the walls that were then covered with white paint. The artist finds this fascinating and keeps bragging about his "very original idea" not realizing that Anna seems deeply disturbed. Distraught, she eventually leaves his apartment and calls her friend Lea to vent about the bad date. Once again, Lea is not available and the call switches to voice mail. When Anna finally receives a call back from someone who claims that she has been calling the wrong number, she is confronted with the fact that she has been talking to a Ghost.
