Engaging and relevant content - that is what smac media has been striving for since Klaus Röder founded the company, a stone’s throw away from Neuschwanstein almost 20 years ago.
Ever since the company has been producing successfully for various platforms, has been investing in its networks and accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experiences. In 2010, Felix Parson took over business, and Ito Herrmann joined in 2019. Today, the company is located in Munich and focuses on the development, financing and ultimately production of serial formats for TV-stations, streaming services and online platforms.
Our team interlinks experience with an outside-the-box-mindset, and has access to new talent before they hit the industry.
Our portfolio includes countless commissioned as well as proprietary productions, which we've placed successfully in private and public national television. Smac media's productions have been sold internationally numerous times. In addition we've repeatedly received governmental grants for our on-spec projects.
