Synopsis
It is every driver’s worst nightmare: collecting too many penalty points in Flensburg and losing your licence. The traffic register in the far north of Germany is as famous as it is feared.
More than ten million German citizens are on record here, three quarters of them men.
As the register celebrates its 60th anniversary, “Our History†takes stock with the help of accident investigators, traffic experts and contemporary witnesses, including some rather unexpected twists and turns, with impressive footage from the archives and unforgotten gems of automotive television history.
The cabaret artist Dirk Bielefeldt slips into the role of Herr Holm and offers viewers humorous suggestions on how to “collect points successfully†in Flensburg.
