Gaston Patrice Babatunde Bart-Williams, known by his stage name Patrice, is considered one of the most famous German reggae musicians. The musician with roots in Sierra Leone is a celebrated star today. Patrice was born in Cologne in 1979. Together with his sister Mallance, he grew up with his parents in Kerpen-Brüggen.
The film tells the story of a musician who has achieved what he dreamed of through his own strength and passion, whom setbacks have rather strengthened and who gives expression to his inner cultural turmoil, his "soulstorm", with the help of his music.

It is a sensitive portrait in which Patrice shows himself and his work emotionally and openly. Family members, companions and musician friends like Gentlemen and Max Herre also talk about their time together and their experiences.
