A long-term observation 2009 - 2021

Pedi and Anny (a lesbian couple) have three sons. The sperm donor is the naturopath Eike - a father with "no rights and no responsibilities". In 2009 this long-term documentary starts with the birth of Pino, the youngest of the three brothers. In 2021 he celebrates his 12th birthday.

The goal of the documentary is to show how this rainbow family manages the political-moral waves of a society that has no role models for them yet.

Actors stand in for skeptics voicing their criticism of this family model. They verbalize unspoken fears and unease. These topics are embedded in thematic blocks of archive material that place the topic in a contemporary historical and social context.

In 2014 it turns out that Eike "helped" other families without telling them about each other and neither did he reveal his "family help" to his own mother for a long time. Surprisingly, a growing family universe emerges.
