wants the art back. maxine overhears his dilemma and schemes to help cyrus while also helping herself. a bet is made to see who can get past the cumbersome obstacles and retrieve the precious loot first. both show up to the gallery at the same time. Maxine’s attitude is fanatical. she’s ready to live-stream it to shut those online haters up. on the opposite side of the building, aloof Cyrus’ overconfidence has him strolling in like it’s a trip to the supermarket. they both have near run-ins with
the security guard and face unexpected hurdles before ultimately descending on the art in the same instant. Cyrus unmasks max-a-minute to the world and Maxine loses her cool when she discovers at the center of the heist is one man’s insecurities. a final moment has the pair ditching the digital and choosing a human-to-human connection. they flee, toasting to their victory, and going on to heist another day
