Marionette

Marianne Winter, an American child psychiatrist, loses her husband in a terrible, random accident. Resolving to make a new start, she moves to Aberdeen, Scotland, taking on a job in a clinic where they treat disturbed children. One of her new patients, Manny, a closed and secretive 9-year-old boy, has an unusual delusion: he claims he can control her future.

Deeply intriged, Marianne begins an obsession that will derail her life.
