No one in my family or my environment has ever been in front of the camera or on stage. My father had the only acting experience our family. 35 years ago, he spent a day as an extra, distributing newspapers in German cult crime series „Tatort". His scene ended up on the cutting room floor.
I don't know if I believe in destiny, but there was something in me that I just followed that drew me to acting.
Without knowing anything about this world, I somehow knew I was part of it. Nothing feels as natural, easy, and right as merging with a role, feeling the rhythm of a scene, and all the emotions that arise within me and together with my acting partners.
I find it most exciting to dive into completely different worlds and times, which is why I'm particularly attracted to historical or fantasy formats. That's my big dream. And shooting internationally is still on my bucket list.
