Andreas Blind

Andreas is a student Director of Photography at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. He grew up in Munich, where he initially started to work with professional cameras and lenses during his time at LUDWIG Kameraverleih. Following this, he completed a one-year degree in digital cinematography at the Bavarian Television Academy.

A switch into the lighting department was facilitated through his work at Sparks Filmtechnik, where over two years, he gained experience across a variety of projects, including feature films, television series, and commercials.

Andreas also took on the role of Gaffer on low-budget productions, notably on the short film "Beben," which was selected for premiere at prestigious festivals such as the Cannes Film Festival, MIFF, and TIFF.

He has been enrolled at the well-acclaimed Filmakademie in Ludwigsburg since 2022.
