About Maayane Bouhnik
Director of photography based in Europe. Focused on narrative story telling, as well as music video and commercial. Recently was the DP of the music video PAGE by ED SHEERAN.
Her experience spans working with analog film formats (16mm, 35mm), as well as digital processes. Additionally, she has honed her skills shooting underwater.
Visual translation of inspiring stories is her true passion, specially composing touching moments while painting with light. Within the filmmaking process, she love the excitement of finding new ideas, as well as the delicate balance of sensitivity and concentration the process requires. She sees importance in hard work and collaboration. She always seek out the most challenging, yet captivating and joyful paths, as she believes they lead to extraordinary results.
In 2019 She joined the cinematography program at DFFB in Berlin. She started as a film student at Thelma Yellin school of art.
With fluency in English, Hebrew, French, and German, She is excited to collaborate in any language and location.
