Bolik, a Polish sham marriage broker in the UK organises a fraudulent marriage between Michael, a Chinese man in his mid 20's and Katia, 20, from
Eastern Europe. In order for them to fake it in front of the registrar, they have to memorise fact sheets about each other. Meticulous and anal, Michael is very driven to succeed but Katia fears failure and is clumsy and naive. Needless to say they both slip up in the interview, Katia revealing she is a single mum and Michael giving the game away by reeling off Katia's passport number. Shambles."
