Remco Teer

Remco started acting at a young age. At the age of 13 he already had a small role in the Dutch film academy graduation film "Kwaad Bloed" by Pim van Hoeve, with which Remco immediately landed his first corporate film role. He starred in an innovative corporate film for the former bus company NZH. This interactive film was released on Laserdisc due to the purpose of training for bus drivers.

A few larger roles in corporate films followed he worked for LCC (National Coordination Committee) "Girls and self-defense" in collaboration with Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences called "Action Reaction" in (1996) and "Over de Grens" for Stichting Meerwaarde in Hoofddorp (1999 ).

Entertainment & Live Theater,
In early 2003 Remco left the Netherlands and went to work for the Spanish company Cosmo Entertainment, as an All-Round Hotel Entertainer (and later as Team Leader Entertainment) for three holiday seasons. He set foot on Dutch soil again in 2005 to work as an actor for the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk where he played Jelle de Jutter four times a day in two different shows. In the fall of 2005 there was a transfer to The Amsterdam Dungeon where he started out as an actor and later got the job as Senior Actor Performance. In this position he was responsible for the entire team of Actors as well as the Casting and Directing for any new Shows in the Amsterdam based attraction.

Remco still played a number of guest roles in various corporate films and television series. He was also seen as the rapping construction worker MC Dennis, one of the three main characters of the 2008 Citroën Berlingo Trio advertising campaign, directed by Maurice Trouwborst and composed by Bas Bron of the "Jeugd van Tegenwoordig". In addition to the rap video, the award-winning advertising campaign also included billboards, advertisements in daily/weekly newspapers and a special website.

TV, Film & Theater,
Between 2008 and 2013, Remco appeared in various TV Series in various roles. From the antisocial and sassy "Londsdale" character "Tommie Krum", who gets into a fight with neighbor "Kelvin Vlaskip", a role of Dikke Dennis, in the first season of A'dam - EVA to the compassionate and protective friend " Kees Vertegaal" of an innocent murder suspect in" Accused". In "Winter in Wartime" he can be seen alongside Peter Post as a German Soldier in the City Hall, unfortunately the majority of this scene ended up on the editing floor.

In September 2013, Remco was forced to take a long break that will last until 2020.

Further training of his skills,
In 2021 / 2022 Remco has been able to challenge, retrain and inspire himself in the profession of Actor through the Dutch Actors School.

You learn and develop if you continue to train regularly and are inspired by each other as a group. Hence this training in which he was given the opportunity to work at a high level with professionals and a motivated group. Without all the hassle around it, just acting! During this training period, workshops were followed by:

Renée Fokker; Roeland Fernhout; Sigrid ten Napel; Leendert de Ridder; Annick Boer; Ryan Gerritsen; Eva van der Gucht; Jeroen Spitzenberger; Melody Klaver and Bartho Braat.

Since you never stop learning as an actor, Remco was able to follow a great workshop under the guidance of Melody Klaver in the summer of 2022.

On November 28, 2022 Remco can be seen in a guest role as "Delano"in the longest-running Dutch soap opera "Goede Tijden, Goede Tijden",In which he is very intimidating towards "Bing" (Everon Jackson Hooi) and "Cato" (Marit Meijeren).

He also plays a small role opposite Julia Akkermans in a new Videoland Streaming series that will be shown nationwide in 2023.
