Fiori sopra l'inferno

The star of the series is actress Elena Sofia Ricci, who plays Teresa Battaglia, an experienced profiler in her late fifties, who has arrived from the city together with her small team, her family, into which a new member, young Inspector Massimo Marini (Giuseppe Spata), has just settled, on the run from himself and his past. Also revolving around Teresa's life is Chief Inspector Giuseppe Parisi (Gianluca Gobbi). He has been Teresa's shadow for more than twenty years, wherever he has served, he has followed her. He knows her better than anyone and, behind that leathery shell, he can recognise the wounds and frailties that have led her to be the woman she is. In the course of the series, Teresa Battaglia will have to confront and measure herself as much with her limits as with her qualities as a woman, thanks to the presence of a close-knit group of children who, like little "Goonies", in friendship find the strength not to think about the pain that lurks in their homes and to dream of a better world and a better life, as is normal and right at their age. Teresa, with them, will show her most tender and maternal side, revealing herself for what she is: a woman who has deliberately buried her humanity behind a veneer of hardness and cynicism.
