Born in 1988 in the vibrant city of Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Filip Orlandić's journey into the world of cinema began early. A passion for visual storytelling led him to the Academy of Arts in Belgrade, where he undertook academic film studies from 2007 to 2011, culminating in a Bachelor's Degree in Arts. His excellence and dedication to his craft did not go unnoticed; in 2009, the academy conferred upon him the accolade of the 'Best Film Camera Student'.
As an aspiring cinematographer, Filip's foray into professional cinema began with dozens of short films. His unique perspective and understanding of the visual language won him two esteemed awards for the best cinematography at various film festivals.
Parallelly, during his academic tenure, Filip's professional career in the film industry took off. With over 15 years of rich experience, his expertise spans both behind the camera and in the post-production suite.
In the past seven years, Filip has positioned himself as a highly sought-after Digital Imaging Technician (DIT). His résumé boasts of his involvement in 14 major international film and television projects from American, British, and German production houses, including industry stalwarts like Paramount, Sony Pictures, PBS, ZDF and many more... His contribution to Serbian cinema is equally significant, having worked on over 70 film and television projects. Whether it's as a dedicated member of the camera crew or a meticulous post-production DI Colorist, Filip's commitment to cinematic excellence remains unwavering.
In addition to his technical prowess, Filip is multilingual, proficient in both English and Serbian, making him versatile in cross-cultural collaborations.
