In an affluent Parisian suburb, Alain, Christine, Tiphaine and Maddie form an ordinary family. They are friends with the neighbors of the house across the street, Valerie and her children. They lead ordinary family and neighborhood lives, at least on the surface. Imprisoned under the weight of social conventions and his own malaise, one of the characters cannot find balance within himself and his surroundings.
He then decides to make himself listen once and for all, even if it means jeopardizing what he holds most dear.
