Dennis Blass

Graduated with a Master’s degree in filmmaking from the University of the West of Scotland in 2021, I developed my skills as a writer-director and cinematographer through multiple short film projects, both fictional and non-fictional. My Master’s short fiction film Burns Night (credit: writer-director) was selected by the Ealing Film Festival London of 2022 and received an award for best actor by the Vancouver Independent Short Film Festival of the same year. Pursuing a professional career in directing, I have alternately been working as a Script Supervisor at the German TV series "Dahoam is Dahoam” and "Hubert ohne Staller" since August 2022. With more than 1.5 years of work experience in this position, my next career goal is to become 1st AD in HETV.
