Cleaning

Based on found footage and home-movies filmed on super and regular 8mm during Yugoslavia and affected by chemical deterioration, this work focuses on exploring the possibilities of “women's writing” and the specificity of female experiences. Childbirth and the termination of pregnancy are just some of the many experiences that are traditionally represented and marginalized in the social and political context due to the dominance of established narratives.
