Backdoor – Wyjście awaryjne is a remake of a Brazilian Internet format entitled Porta dos Fundos. The YouTube channel where the original skits are available has over 17 million subscribers, and almost 7 billion views. The Polish adaptation consists of ten 22-minute-long episodes.
Maintaining proper distance and breaking down taboos, the series provides a commentary on interpersonal relations and everyday situations related to social, cultural and political matters. By doing that, it keeps challenging the stereotypes which shape our reality. Conclusion? Sometimes the only door you need to open in order to escape is the one labeled… “Humor”.
