Are You Still There? Is an anthology film about four individuals from different backgrounds, and their struggle to connect with others (and themselves) in a world where contact is becoming more available.
The through line of the four stories is human connection, or separation, more to be exact. Each character is alone in their respective stories. Their only contact is through some form of communication: walkie-talkie, landline phone, social app, and intercom. The action of calling someone without them seeing you always obscures something between the callers.
This obscuring is in our desire to choose how someone else perceives us. Our stories explore this concept and how it manifests in different people.
