Kinski Revisited

The actor we have chosen to recreate died in November 1991, and so the re-creation process was restricted to referencing filmed material and photographs. Our intention was to recreate the actor as he would appear at the age of 81. These constraints lead to an almost entirely artist-driven approach in creating a convincing and realistic digital performance. The footage shows a trailer for an non-existing fictive feature pretending to be Klaus Kinski starring in the star role.
