Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) - Tomek lebt

Tomek Kaczmarek’s story is one of an insane roller coaster ride through life. With his life at stake due to a congenital heart defect, he only survived a dangerous emergency operation with the help of innumerable blood reserves. Thanks to these, he can still do all the things he loves today! But those blood reserves are scarce and only 3.5 percent of the population in Germany donates blood. Together with ‘Fack ju Göthe’ star Gizem Emre, Tomek now stood in front of the camera in Berlin to draw attention to the important topic of blood donation. Tim Oliver Schultz (‘Red Band Society’) took over the role of the speaker and the social spot was directed by Igor Plischke.
The film production POISON took over the production on initiative of the advertising agency komFOUR for the customer German Red Cross Blood Donor Service Baden-Württemberg-Hessen. The important message at the end is: ‘Donate blood. Save Lifes’ and this is now to be carried into the world with’Tomek: I survived!’
