"Extras Management" instead of just on-set support!
The assistant director can delegate the entire extras management and focus on setting up and handling other tasks on the film set.
Administration with contracts, thorough briefing, on-set management with all interfaces (assistant director, set assistant director, assistant, base, catering, location, ...), motivation, coaching, and if necessary, also setting up extras: For me, extras management is more than simple 'support'.
Versatile, self-taught, experience in personnel management and extras support, including larger groups. Visual eye (graphic and media design), creativity when needed, experience in event management and organization, flexible and always open to new things. And above all - a long-time extra.
Current main job: Freelance extras manager and owner of a advertising and event agency (since 2007), allowing for flexible deployment and invoicing.
