JAKOB (31) works as a security guard in an industrial slaughterhouse in Germany. In his small office he monitors the work routines within the factory via computer screens. Neither the constant killing nor the daily assaults by the foremen interest him anymore. All his attention is focused on the Bulgarian temporary worker BORIS (38) who has been at the cutting line for several months. The two men share a tender, secret love. To show how strong his feelings for Boris really are, Jakob takes advantage of his superior position and steals back Boris' confiscated passport. His most ardent wish is to finally leave the slaughterhouse with Boris in order to start a new life together. Boris, however, has other plans. He is determined to escape on his own, back home to his family. For Jakob, a world collapses and a battle for power and desire begins. How far will both go for their dreams when love knows no rules?
