Brief synopsis

In exchange for a human soul the devil awards extraordinary talent. The site where this bargain takes place is called X. Situated between worlds, X is neither here nor there, but lies on the edge. Oscillating between breathing and singing, scars and traces, memory and fiction, the hybrid short film X stages a ritual in honor of the spirits of the Ruhr area, a former industrial landscape.
