Brief synopsis
TABU.auf.BRUCH in STein.um.bruch
As Salon 13, it is important to us to address taboos and make people aware of them. It is important to educate ourselves and those around us. Not everything has to be and remain what a broad society considers normal. Sometimes we are allowed to think NEW.
We will make taboos visible, talk about them and make them tangible.
What is it like when there is an invisible lid over certain things and they are not addressed?
The very things that cannot be changed by a single person
The very things that our society sees as a set of rules
The very things that accompany us every day and cause us to stumble
It's somehow blatant that we accept a tacit agreement as a given - unquestioned + unconditionally. This is probably how TABU's are set. Irrevocable!???
It is an important right for us humans to question "sets of rules" and to step out of the "that's the way it should be" "that's how it's done" and to feel, do I really want it that way?
WE HAVE DONE IT OUR WAY and addressed TABU's

Johannes Ziegler, a professional cameraman who filmed the entire project over all 3 days, came up with the idea of creating a 52-minute documentary for us. The TABU.auf.BRUCH will continue and live on - we are planning a film premiere in Vorarlberg in spring 2024!
This will be accompanied by a TABU program booklet with photos and a portrait of all the artists and their TABU theme.
