Sonata

Grzegorz, diagnosed to be an autistic child, lives inside his hermetic world unable to make a connection with others. When he is a teenager it turns out the reason for his isolation is not autism but a hearing impairment, concealing a great hidden musical talent. Thanks to a cochlear implant, Grzegorz starts getting to know sounds, words and music and he falls in love with the latter. He wants to become a pianist and perform in a philharmonic. Apart from himself and his family nobody believes that a deaf boy – even with the aid of modern technology – will be able to make his dream come true.
