Brief synopsis
Winter 1961. A heavily pregnant Rosi is admitted to hospital. She appears to be in labour. Mere moments from the blessed event, she threatens to simply run off, should the doctor choose not to sign her release papers. “Because,” as she plainly explains, “the butcher will be by tomorrow to slaughter her pig and she surely needs to be there. A most unusual tale of giving birth.
