Brief synopsis
Freestyle motocross world champion Luc Ackermann pulled out all the stops in his new video project: unprecedented tricks, tsunami backflips from boat to boat in front of Cologne Cathedral, spectacular drops from a container and many more breathtaking stunts. Luc explains just how gnarly the "Rhine Line" was for him.
With this project, even Evil Knievel would have been speechless, because what Luc Ackermann shows on his motocross bike is hard to beat in terms of daring, vehicle control and creativity. The reigning FMX World Champion and X Games gold medallist from Germany has surpassed himself with his video project. He has moved far out of his comfort zone several times to perform the trick world premiere Backflip-Bonk, a Tsunami Backflip over two moving ships, a Double Backflip or a metre-high drop into the unknown despite a fear of heights and many other tricks. Over 1.5 years of planning went into the video production to turn Luc's insane idea into reality.
