Lämmer / Lambs (WT)

Stories about the daily life of a small family consisting of mother sheep, father sheep and baby sheep. Through a comedic lense, we get a perfectly accurate depiction of a childs reality of life. The relationship between big and small (in which the big isn't always right), a childs instinct to play, being creative, individual and curious are all important topics of the movie. The theme of 'Big Vs Small' also includes the clash between the small world of the family with the big world that surrounds them. The film presents clear and repetitive situations that are relatable among a young audience. Although you only see a grass patch with the sheep, the greater world is always present through sound, props and visitors. The dramaturgy builds on repetition and surprises. The animation is simple, but full of love and perfect comedy timing. The narration works without words.
