Inese Boka-Grube

Inese Boka-Grūbe is the partner and producer at the Latvian film production company Mistrus Media, working in the production field since 2005 on feature documentaries, fiction films co- productions and service production projects. Inese has a BA in psychology (Latvian University), MA in European Studies (Katholieke Universiteit Leuven), MA audiovisual Arts (Academy of Culture), currently Inese is a PhD student, Latvian Academy of Culture, research field – reception of historical films.
Latest releases includes historical coming of age feature JANUARY (2022, dir. Viesturs Kairišs, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland) with the World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival 2022, Award for the Best International Narrative, feature drama NATURAL LIGHT (2021 dir.Denes Nagy, Hungary, Latvia, Germany, France; Mistrus Media as a minority co-producer) Berlin International Film Festival, 2021 Competition Programme, Silver Bear for the Best Director and SAMUELS TRAVELS (2021, dir.Aik Karapetian, Latvia, Belgium), World Premiere at the Fantastic Fest 2021, US.
Inese is a member of the ACE Producers Network (ACE 2022), EAVE, 2017, EFP Producers on the Move 2019, member of European Producers Club, European Film Academy, Latvian Film Producers Association.
