The Nordreportage continues the stories about the very special everyday life of the so far only inhabitants of Hallig Süderoog in the middle of the Wadden Sea:
Nele (38) and Holger (41), tenants of Hallig Süderoog for eight years, now have two little daughters. This has completely changed their family life for the past year. Every second Sunday, Holger sails his wife and the two girls over to the island of Pellworm so that Fenja can attend the kindergarten there on a half-day basis, where she is with other island children. At the beginning it was not easy for her to fit into the group of three-year-olds. Her previous life on Süderoog, with only her parents, little sister and the many sheep, chickens, ducks and geese, was very different.
