Actus Reus

Italy, 1974. The law defines rape as ‘a crime against public decency and morality’ and few women report sexual assaults for fear of humiliation. After yet another rape trial ending with an acquittal, a disillusioned lawyer takes matters into her own hands and sets a cunning plan into motion that will make the judge responsible a victim of the misogynistic system he represents.
