My Village

In honor of the occasion of the 70-year anniversary of Kfar-Yedidya, the village in which they were born and raised, Tomer, Barak and Erez Heymann were asked to make a documentary film. Contrary to the expectations of the organizing committee, the Heymann brothers choose to show the unique viewpoint of the village’s anti-heroes. Consequently, as the shooting of the film progresses, the brothers find themselves in an ever increasing conflict between their commitment to their ‘clients’ and their desire to artistically portray the characters whose voices are not normally heard.
