The Body as Matrix - Matthew Barney’s Cremaster Cycle

Documentary on Matthew Barney’s completed Cremaster Cycle (1994-2002), an exhibition held in Cologne’s Museum Ludwig in the summer of 2002. In addition to Matthew Barney, we also hear from other members of the team: Gabe Bartalos (make-up and special effects), Chelsea Romersa (co-producer), Matthew D. Ryle (production and sculpture design) and the curator of the exhibition Nancy Spector (Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum).
