Morocco invaded the Western Sahara 30 years ago and built a wall to keep out
an independence movement fighting for self-rule.
On one side of the wall in Algeria in the oldest refugee camp in the world
lives Fetim with her three daughters. She is waiting for a passport to be
able to go Spain to reunite with Baba her husband and Karito her only son.
On the other side of the wall, in the occupied territory lives Embarka,
Fetim's mother. Now under a special UN scheme they have the chance to meet
but only for five days.
Through the eyes of a family the film will give a very human window into the
broader issue of being stateless.
