In this film parallel realities, space and non space, time and non time,
recursivity, loss, and discovery are explored through the experiences of a
young woman stranded in time and in space. Her journey is dialogue with the
beauty which is found in the unplanned, uncontrolled, and the unforeseen.
A film about interstitial space and non space, dealing with the areas
between both the times and the places which we intend to inhabit and those
where life actually takes place.
At any one time we inhabit many contiguous realities all of which are to a
greater or lesser extent plastic, unstable, and interdependent. The
processes of perception which create these realities have no fixed anchor
point, they mutate constantly within the influence of both positive and
negative feedback loops. We therefore continually recursively re-evaluate
these contingent, and temporary realities. In order for one door to open,
sometimes first another must shut, and loss is the inevitable, if
uncomfortable bedfellow of discovery.
