Endangered Species

Music by Alvin Curran, recorded at the Berlin Improvised Music Festival, is mixed with pictures, selected from Ira Schneider's film and video archive from 1964 until 2008, that sometimes relate to the music presented. Schneider and Curran met in Providence Rhode Island in 1957 while they were both students at Brown University. They have been working together on videos in the last 40 years. Won Best Experimental Short at Berlin Short Film Festival 2015.
