The Dead King

Tasked with a new conundrum, detective Bosworth embarks on a mission to smoke out Dick Larry, a notoriously dangerous crook who has eloped and gone into hiding. Right around midnight, detective Bosworth receives an intriguing phone call from the wealthy Ms. Summersby widow. She claims to be in possession of a lead regarding the ongoing Dick Larry investigation. In what sounds eerily charming to Bosworth, she urges him to join her this very instant at her apartment. Upon arrival, he finds her tied up - only now does the set up become apparent: the hunter has become the hunted. Trapped by Dick Larry, Bosworth will have to survive and succeed in extirpating both himself and the Summersby widow from this dangerous dead end alive.
