Nanny is a generalized character of a self-sacrificing Russian woman who can smother herself if her breath bothers the lives of her children. And it does not matter whether you gave birth to them, or they were handed to you by their dying mother. There is a category of people who consider their duty and discharging of it above all, even above their own personal interests. And when everything is clear with the marital duty, duty to return debts or official duty and even duty to your motherland, then what about dealing with the human duty? Nanny is a series about human destiny within the history of a country. About how a person (not only Tatiana) wanted neither bad nor good, and the State, as if performing a slogan: who is not with us is against us, dragged this person through prisons, wars, hunger and exile. Someone broke down (Emma – the boys' mother), and someone, on the contrary, could choose the only right way. Only Tatyana adhered the principles instilled by her parents and did not betray them till her dying day: commitment, duty and faith. This example helped the boys to choose the right life path, through hesitation, questing and hardship, right to the good. (
