The Absence of Strangers (Trailer)

The Absence of Strangers is about a man who arrives in New York with barely any possessions except for a photograph of a girl. He begins a humble search for her which turns into an epic road trip as he follows the bread-crumbs of her life across the stunning, eclectic expanse of North America. Along the way we meet many interesting characters and strangers and learn the intriguing and sometimes tragic story of the girl in the photograph, but very little about the man himself; his personal story changing with each person he meets.
