Spring time
Es ist der Frühling als Iris 9 Jahre alt ist. Es ist auch der Frühling wo Iris sich das erste Mal verliebt fühlt. Und es ist jener Frühling als ihre Mutter wieder weint, die Großmutter verzweifelt ist und die Lehrerin Linke einen Elfentanz in der Schule proben will. Und vor allem ist es der Frühling in dem Iris beschließt, dass sie, wenn sie groß ist, ein Mann werden wird, weil Männer es leichter haben.

And it is also the spring when her mother again begins to cry, when the Grandmother is desperate and when the teacher Mrs Linke wants to rehearse a fairy-danse at school.
