When Arabella Steinbacher made the spontaneous decision to go to Japan, it was in the hopes of providing comfort through the healing power of music. She wanted to support those who had lost nearly everything in the earthquake and tsunami - and help inspire in them a renewed faith in the future. The world-renowned violinist put together a small concert tour of the hardest-hit areas of Japan. In this way Arabella Steinbacher, the daughter of a Japanese singer and a German pianist, set out to reach the victims of the disaster.
