Northbound

The story of a long journey, the journey of an immigrant from the moment he leaves his country of origin until he reaches his personal
and geographical goal. The faces of this person who comes from abroad, this foreigner who leaves his country for an uncertain,
unknown world, are innumerable. The reasons for this journey may also be different but the journeys themselves are very similar. Using four different stories in a short time we live through the experiences of various people from the moment they leave their country until, in some cases a lifetime later they consider the possibility of returning to their point of departure. Four directors provide an almost intimate view of an unavoidable reality at a time when some borders are disappearing and others are being consolidated.
